Drop-off and pick-up
How class time works
There is no viewing window or viewing device. Children of every age go into class with their instructor, without a parent.
Studio rule 1Please keep the hallway and its entrance clear so instructors can safely hand each student back to a parent.
Studio rule 2Bathroom before class, please. If your child is not potty trained, stay close by in case they need changing; staff cannot change children.
Studio rule 3Keep the lobby and parking lot friendly and respectful.

Performances
Recital, showcase and costumes
Every class performs in the end of year recital.
Studio rule 9Christmas showcase participants buy the parade package, which is what all students wear for that performance. The Christmas showcase and the end of year recital both require tickets and ticket fees. The studio says it is working on recital package options.
Studio rule 22Recital costumes are an extra fee, not included in tuition, and are required for the end of year recital. There is one costume per style (a ballet and tap combo class needs two). Tumble classes wear a recital t-shirt and bow. Costume fees are split into 2 payments, and smaller increments are allowed.

Tuition, fees and payments
The money rules, in the studio's terms
Monthly tuition amounts are not published online. Call the studio at (706) 844-3415 to ask.
Tuition is monthly and due on the 1st. Tuition paid after the 5th has a $15 late fee added.
Studio rule 16Tuition still owed when the next month begins can result in removal from the class roster.
Studio rule 17Students with tuition owed are not eligible for extra events, including private lessons.
Studio rule 18Payment by cash, check or Venmo. Credit cards are not accepted at this time. Venmo payments must include the student's first and last name in the note, and must not use the option that deducts a percentage (any shortfall is owed).

Studio rule 11Any unpaid balance must be settled before registering again at either DW location.

Missed classes and closures

Studio rule 12All locations close Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and Spring Break week (dates on the studio's Important dates sheet). Tuition is not prorated for those weeks, because months with 5 weeks are not charged extra.
Studio rule 13No refunds on goods or services, including costumes, parade shirts, recital t-shirts, shoes or items bought from dancemax dancewear, missed classes, summer sessions, studio parties or events, recital DVDs, recital shout outs, tuition and registration fees.
