Tumbling, acro and cheer prep classes in Calhoun

DW Calhoun runs 15 tumbling classes a week at its Magnolia Lane studio, plus Tiny Tumble for 18 months to 2 years. Classes are grouped by age (3, 4-5, 6-9, 7 and up, 10 and up) and by level, from Level 1 to Level 5. Acro starts at age 3, and Cheer Prep is open to ages 4 and up.

What to wear

All policies for new students

Leotards or athletic wear are fine. No jeans, and no dresses without shorts underneath. Hair pulled back in a ponytail or out of the face for every class.

What age can my child start tumbling at DW Calhoun?

Tiny Tumble is for 18 months to 2 years on Mondays, and 3yr Tumble runs on Wednesdays.

What is the difference between tumbling and gymnastics at DW Calhoun?

Tumbling classes meet at the dance studio on Magnolia Lane and are grouped by age and level. Gymnastics classes meet at the DW Gymnastics Center, 550 Jolly Road NW, on Mondays and Thursdays.
